Map2Excel available for Mindjet 11
Mindjet launched Mindjet 11 today.
I compiled a new Map2Excel add-in for Mindjet 11 and fixed a few bugs, so I’d recommend downloading the latest version (1.0.0062) for your version of MindManager regardless of what version of the software you are using.
This version also has a license key field in the options menu that eliminates the popup on exit after use. Supporters of the site will get a licence key by email. If you have previously donated, send me an email (info@activityowner.com) and I’ll set you a key.
If you have other add-ins you urgently want compiled for Mindjet 11 let me know.
Mindjet 11 looks similar to pervious versions and boots up quickly. I’ll post a separate review once I’ve used it for a bit. Remember that Mindjet 11 is the upgrade from Mindjet Manager 2012 (which was really Mindjet 10). I currently have an annual maintenance agreement so I got the upgrade as part of that. New customers look like they have the main option of paying $30/month rather than purchasing.

I am a user of Mindreader, GyroQ, and ResultsManager on MM10. so far, MM11 works only with GyroQ. Will you be updating Mindreader for MM11? And, any thoughts or suggestions about getting RM to work with MM11? Finally, I would be happy to donate.

Hi Phillip — I’ll updated mindreader and will update the other compiled add-ins for 2011. I don’t know the status of RM for 2011. In some previous versions, you could launch the main macro that runs ResultsManager manually and get it to work. I know they struggled with 2012 but perhaps 11 addresses the issues.
MindJet has made some changes to the macro capability. It looks like its backward compatible but has some new updated capabilities. These won’t translate to the online version but its nice to see the desktop is well supported.
