Working with new installations of both MindManager 8.2 and 9 recently has led me to conclude that the advice of this 2007 post still holds. If you are using MindManager with an add-in like ResultsManager or MindReader, you can avoid intermittent crashes by turning off the auto-recover feature in the options.
In a coment on the project management series, Charles suggested MindManager map outlining how to accomplish certain tasks with MindManager, GyroQ, ResultsManager, Outlinker, and other tools in the site.
