Map2Excel exports topic notes as Excel comments

Thanks to Sam S. for sharing some of his improvements of map2excel, particularly around how to add notes as comments. The latest version (1.0.0012) of Map2Excel now can take notes in MindManager for all the topics and add them as comments in the excel export.

For example, exporting this branch as an outline

yields:

You have to select this under the new “options” button. The options dialog also has an option to not limit the export to only visible topics (e.g. those that are not collapsed or filtered out).

I made several significant additional revisions for version 1.0.0014 this evening. They particularly affect the outline mode of the excel export:

    * Can now have hyperlinks back to each topic and all notes captured in comments
    * All extended information topic tags can be exported in outline mode (not just for last topic)
    * Columns are narrow in outline mode as each topic gets a new row for itself.

    Dear AO,

Your work is so much perfect! I really couldn’t find a GTD system that better than this!

However, the system is even better if we have a mobile app that help us to input and do some simply task on-the-go. Then the cellphonewill synchronize with the system on laptop later.

More specifically, I have an iPhone 3GS, and I wish I could have a GyroQ app to input my task faster. I found a very wonderful feature on iPhone that help to input command by voice, and if we can dictate to the phone by voice, then GyroQ-on-iphone can process it, send data to the system later, it will be so much excellent!

Please tell me if there is any solution to work-around this. Thank u very much, Mr AO.

Jalong – my approach is to email myself action items with action in subject line and then use outlinker to process into mindmanager. You can also sync in from outlook task list if needed.
