Some users uncovered a bug in the 1st version of Map2Excel that only showed up if you hadn’t previously installed the ActivityOwner Tools Add-in for MindManager. It is fixed now, so if you had trouble installing, please have another go at it and report your results:

A new version of map2excel has been uploaded on 1Apr. This adds notes back to the export and addresses the issue with checking for updates.

Hi, I am using the new version of MindManager 2012 and just downloaded the add in
I am trying to export to Excel with the external links. For example, discussions in LinkedIn with links to profiles. If I download in the outline with detail, I am able to link to the linkedin profile. However, when I download in Excel which is what I need to organize large maps, I only am able to link back to my mindmanager topic?
I have selected external links in the options as well.
Using MM 2012, Win 7 OS, and newest addin from you. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi Maryanne — I can’t replicate the problem and am not sure what is working and what is not. “”outline with detail” goes to excel right? Could you send me a sample map and a sample of excel you get from it at info@activityowner.com? Are you using the latest “beta” version?

John — you should be able to uninstall like other programs under start/control panel. You can also disable the add-in under mindmanager options.
