Note that MindManager 8.2 internal browser is currently interpreting outlook hyperlinks as relative file links unless the link type of the hyperlink is set to absolute. This macro will fix all links in a given map:

http://wiki.activityowner.com/index.php?title=Ao_fix_relative_outlook_links.mmbas

The other options are to set the links absolute manually, disable the browser add-in, or click right on link and launch

Thanks for checking in. The program gets a bit better every time someone contributes a question, suggestion, or bug report.

Hey--that solved the problem!

Turns out that I had over-specified the drive path combination in Outlinker's Options for the mindreadernlp.mmbas file. So, when I corrected it Outlinker now works.

Great program!

Hi Paul -- Sorry about that. I checked code and that message comes up when it gets any type of error trying to run the mindreaderopen macro. I just uploaded a new version of outlinker that has a more descriptive error message displayed that might give us some insight into what is happening.

I also added a display of the default map directory on the settings form. It could be that you and MindManager don't agree on what your default map directory is.

Let me know what you find.

I sure could use some help.

I'm hooked on MindReader, and keep up with all the revisions.

recently I tried to install Outlinker, but I'm having what may be a simple problem.

After installing the latest code from the wiki, I always get the same error:

"Outlinker cannot find the mindreaderopenmacro. Check your Outlinker settings."

I've exhaustively checked the Outlinker settings, and verified all the locations. It's all where it's supposed to be.

Any troubleshooting hints?

thanks!
